Bicycling around the island of Maui is a wonderful experience and one that can be afforded on any budget. Rentals are available all over the island and a winding road allows you to bicycle from one side of the island to the other while still capturing an ocean side view. Guided tours are also available for bicycling as well. Rainforest hikes are magnificent. The rainforests are home to most of the native birds and while on your hike you will see and hear them as they sing to you. You will hike past the cascading waterfalls and through the narrow valleys following trails and nature walks. The hikes are ranked in skill so if you are an experienced hiker or an amateur, there is a hike available for you. Imagine the photos you will be able to capture from this adventure. Humpback whales go to Hawaii to mate and deliver their babies. There are ample whale watching opportunities that are visible from land or guided tours that can be taken by boat. To get up close and get a premier view of this endangered species a boat tour is recommended.
