Tips on Renting Javea Holiday Villas

by Steve Woodward

Javea on the Costa Blanca, Spain is one of the more popular tourist resorts to be found in this region. Along with its beautiful sandy beaches you can spend time exploring the historic old town or just sit down in the port. When it comes to renting holiday villas in Javea you have a number of options available to you.

What you will soon discover that in the hills surrounding the town there are plenty of villas available to rent for your stay here. However, it is important to note that the cost of renting a villa here will not be cheap as this is one of the most sought after places in Spain where people wish to purchase properties. Below we take a look at which are the best areas in Javea for you to rent a villa in.

The area of Javea that is where most people choose to rent villas is on the slopes of Montgo Mountain. Not only do they provide you with privacy, but they offer spectacular views looking down on Javea. Plus you also are provided with great views and spectacular scenery that covers the whole of the Costa Nova area.

The other area where people like to rent villas is around the areas of Tosalet and Toscamar. The reason for this being that these are located very close to the beautiful sand and warm waters of Arenal beach.

As we have previously mentioned when renting villas in Javea you are going to be spoilt for choice and the only thing that holds you back is how much you are willing to spend. When it comes to booking your villa you can either do this through an agent (there are plenty who deal in properties in Javea) or you can book it directly with the villa owner.

However, although the cost of renting a villa especially in high season (summer) can be quite expensive compared to staying in a hotel it is not. During high season you can expect to pay as much as 1,000 for a villa for a week. But when divide this cost by the number of people staying in the villa the cost is much less than you would expect to pay for a hotel for the same amount of time.

Another reason why many people are now choosing to rent villas in Javea instead of staying in a hotel is the amount of space that they provide. In many cases not only will you have ample living space inside but many come with extremely large gardens and also many will have their own private pool as well.

However, before you go a head and book your villa it is a good idea to spend your time comparing what the various villa rental agents and villa owners have to offer. There are certain things that one needs to take into consideration when renting holiday villas in Javea. The most important of these being what kind of emergency services and back up do the owner or agents provide to you during your stay.
